We are celebrating our 32st year. The Guild was formed in 1975. Originally it was an organization to bring artists together. Over the years we have expanded our goals and activities. We enjoy interesting speakers at our monthly meeting who share information on a wide range of art related topics. Membership is open to anyone interested in the arts and willing to participate in the Guild’s activities.

Members are encouraged to bring current work to share with the group. We have a Wednesday Drop-in at the Fenton Community Center. Fellow artists gather to create art, talk about art and share. We have an annual member’s show, and members participate in various art venues throughout our area. We have a program called “Hanging Around Town”, with art hanging at Little Professor Book Center, displaying art during the Flint Symphony’s visit to Lake Fenton High School, Fenton Jubil’eve and “Art at the Center”.

Our work-shops are held in the spring and fall and are taught by nationally recognized artists and teachers, in various mediums. Usually the workshops are three days to a week long.

We have members who are new to the art world and artists who show nationally and all share a love of art! Glad you can join us!

Meetings are open to the public and guests are welcome! Our meetings are normally held the third Tuesday of every month, (except December). The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m., we have a program speaker and business meeting. We meet in the lower level of the Fenton Community Center.
