MEMBER'S BOOTH
Date and time: Sat, Aug 16th 11a.m. -5p.m. Sun, Aug 17th 11a.m.-4p.m.
Location: Fenton Community Center, 150 S. Leroy St., Fenton, Michigan
Booth located on the North sidewalk, halfway down from building
Details:
1. 12x40 Tent is being set-up for us in our location by the Community Center. There will be sides for the tent.
2. Set-ups will be assembled and paintings hung at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday by those artists participating.
3. Your location will be used for both days.
4. A sign up sheet will be available to determine your time to host the tent. Blocks are 11-2 and 2-5 on Saturday and 11-2 and 2-4 on Sunday. One person will be responsible for the change box during these times.
5. There will be demonstrations during these times, anyone interesting in doing demo please let us know!
6. 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug 16th, you will be responsible for moving your artwork to a safe place. We have space in the Community Center or you may want to take it home or put it in your car.(if you are not available at this time, you need to make arrangements to move the artwork, or it will remain in the tent.) There is security in the park but it is your responsibility
7. 10:00 a.m. Sunday, Aug 17th you will re hang your artwork.
8. 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 17, artists will help take down set ups and clean up. ANY ARTWORK NOT PICKED UP WILL BE LEFT IN THE TENT.
9 .ARTIST COMMITMENT IS FOR THE ENTIRE SHOW, RAIN OR SHINE. ( The Kiwanis will notify us of any change.)
SALES; We are requiring each artist to make a list of artwork title , description and a number and price for each piece on display to be given to the cash table. All sales will go through the payout. Money/checks taken can be collected by the artist at any time, or at the end of the day.
MEETING.... FOR ART AT THE CENTER WED. AUG. 13TH AT 11:30 FOR ALL MEMBERS WHO ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE SHOW. ANY QUESTIONS OR LAST MINUTE CHANGES WILL BE ON THE AGENDA.
So far we have 14 members participating. Each artist should be able to have 2-3 panels, which are 2 1/2 ft by 5 ft. Plan on 4-5 large pieces or smaller ones. Bring extra incase all are sold!!!!! We have two jewelry artists, one metal artist and a fabric artist....great group!!!
