| The Fenton Artist Guild was formed in 1975. Originally it was an organization
to bring artists together. Over the years the goals and activities has
grown so that now guild membership is open to anyone interested in the
arts and willing to participate in the guild activities. Meetings are open to the public and are held the third Tuesday of every month, except December. Meetings begin at 7:00 P.M., and are held in the lower level of the Fenton Community Center, 150 S Leroy, Fenton, Michigan. Monthly Meetings feature an art-related program presented by a different guest speaker each month. Members are encouraged to bring current work to share with the group. Other guild activities are Tuesday morning (10:00 am) workshops at the Community Center, an annual members’ show and participation in Art at the Center in August. Membership dues are due beginning in October each year. If paid before December 31, member’s names will appear in the annual guild directory. All members receive a monthly newsletter. |
