Put those good brushes away; you're going to pout that
paint! In this comprehensive three day workshop, Helen will guide you
through a series of simple masking and carefree pouring. Using transparent
watercolor you will discover colors that would be difficult to achieve
using traditional watercolor methods. By using this unique method of
applying paint you will begin to see the relationship between abstract
pattern and a realistic subject.
Working on a smaller scale will allow you to complete a painting
by the end of day three.
Helen Lystra is a nationally known, award winning artist from Grand
Haven, MI. She holds a BA from Grand Valley State University and continued
her education in art through studies at the School of the Art Institute
of Chicago. Helen is an enthusiastic instructor. Her workshops are
upbeat, fun and informative.
